LED Blink Codes- 'The Adaptec 2906 only has 32-bit support at Adaptec, so if someone has Win7x64 they will need the vista64 drivers I mentioned. The adaptec 19160 has 32/64-bit drivers on the Adaptec website. Check these links. They show how to install the Minolta software, and the software link for the.inf file is still good.'

- The AC adapter camera records clear, motion-activated video and can sense movement at any distance. When it does detect motion, it starts recording a new video. When the movement stops, the video is.
- DVD includes an external USB 2.0 MPEG-2 capture/encoder box with USB amp; A/V cables for simple connectivity to camcorders or other analog video device.
The controller may at times display a series of flashing LEDs, this usually indicates some sort of hardware failure. Adaptec SCSI RAID controllers contain ten status LEDs. LEDs 1 - 8 are used for the LED blink codes. These 8 LEDs are logically separated into two 4-digit segments. Each 4-digit segment represents a hexadecimal digit. LEDs 5 - 8 make up the most significant hex digit and LEDs 1 - 4 make up the least significant hex digit. For cross reference to equate hex numbers with decimal numbers, see the table below:
LED 9 is the IRQ indicator. If this one is on constant there is an IRQ conflict.
Use the following table to understand how the LED Blink codes are displayed.
LEDs 8-5 make up the Most Significant Digit (MSD), LEDs 4-1 make up the Least Significant Digit (LSD). Each LED has a Binary Coded Hex (BCH) value. The BCH values are added together to determine the MSD and LSD. In the example shown below the BCH MSD is 7 and the BCH LSD value is B, which indicates the Blink LED code of 7B.

| LED Position: | ||||||||
| LED Number: | ||||||||
| LED BCH: | ||||||||
| Example: | ||||||||
For example, if the controller LEDs 8, 4, 2 & 1 were flashing at a one second interval, this would equate to a blink code of 8B.
As another example, if the controller LEDs 7, 6, 5, 2, & 1 were flashing at a one second interval, this would equate to a blink code of 73.
See the list blink codes and their meanings below for additional error code information.
Error Codes and Solutions
0x02 - 0x0F
Hardware error.
Solution: Re-seat the controller and any attached module.
0x11
Firmware update failed.
Solution: Attempt to reprogram the firmware again.
0x12
Controller Firmware flash image is corrupt.
Solution: Obtain new copy of firmware flash image and re-flash the controller.
0x15
That model does not support the firmware version installed on the controller.
Solution: Flash update the controller with the correct firmware.
0x16
The firmware version on the controller does not support the module installed.
Solution: Remove the module or flash update the controller firmware with the a new
version.
Adaptec Cameras Wireless
0x26 - 0x28PCI data transfer error.
Solution: Re-seat the controller.
0x5B
All memory modules on the controller must of the same type and size. A mixture of ECC
and non-ECC SIMMs has been detected.
Solution: Verify that all SIMMs installed on the controller are of the same type and size.
0x73
Adaptec Cameras Systems
There are no memory modules installed on the controller. At least one memory module must be installed in order for the controller to operate and it must be installed in socket #1.
Solution: Install a memory module in socket #1.
0x76
All memory on the controller must be of the same type and capacity.
Solution: Power down the system and ensure that all memory installed on the controller is the same type and size.
0x77
An unsupported memory module is installed on the controller.
Adaptec Cameras Software
Solution: Determine which memory module is the unsupported model and remove it.
0xD4
The NVRAM clear jumper is currently installed on the controller.
Solution: Power down and remove the jumper. Then restart the system.
0xE0

A wrong size memory module has been installed on the controller.
Solution: See Installation Guide for a description of supported memory modules.
0xE1
Different size memory modules have been installed on the controller.
Solution: Verify that all memory modules installed are of the same type and size.
* Any BlinkLED codes not listed above are typically hardware errors.
